I totally agree, a quick email or phone call can make a world of difference! :) And thank you, for your kind comment, it is another form of support. ;)

Re: Taking Risks, Stepping Out, and Being Supported

Support is SO key. You can be the greatest visionary in the world, but you need positive feedback to keep you going. Even little small things such as a returned email or big phone call can keep you fueled. Excellent post and you are a ROCKING entrepreneur which is exactly what we are all about :)

Re: Taking Risks, Stepping Out, and Being Supported

Thank you Nathalie
J. I have been feeling a little weery about the situation I'm in. Going from working in construction, to sales rep fo a local cable provider is quiet a daunting thing for me. I belive in god and with your success, speaking about this really inspires me. I've always wanted to go into sales, there is no hope in construction to step up a escalator, I don't like that type of work. I wish I could do something to help you. I will still put you in my prays.

J. This is exactly the type of thing I'm talking about, we don't necessarily ask for it, but when we need it, "it" shows up somehow.

Congrats on committing to your art degree! :)

Re: Taking Risks, Stepping Out, and Being Supported

Ahh I love hearing about your progress Andrea! I think you're taking a great step forward, and yes it might seem risky, but I'm sure it will go smoothly for you! I would wish you luck, but we both know you've already got it covered. :)

Re: Taking Risks, Stepping Out, and Being Supported

Thanks so much! I think support is such an overlooked ingredient to success. Well, I wasn't sure I needed it - but it sure feels good when it's there. ;) I think we can all benefit.

Re: Taking Risks, Stepping Out, and Being Supported

There is fun too! Of course there is, otherwise we wouldn't be doing it, now would we? ;) Thanks for reminding me about the fun.

Re: Taking Risks, Stepping Out, and Being Supported

Hi Nathalie,

I popped over to your raw food site and it looks great! Bravo in taking the next step in your focusiness (I like this term for it). The escalator analogy was very effective for me - you made a complex universal theory easy to understand!

Re: Taking Risks, Stepping Out, and Being Supported

** What risks have you taken in your focusiness (aka business) that were met with support from out of the blue...?

When I decided to commit to getting a degree in art, my darling of a stepfather offered to help me with an allowance, which I would never have asked of him.

Re: Taking Risks, Stepping Out, and Being Supported

I'm in the process of stepping away from one-on-one single sessions and moving more towards group work in my business. Scary, because my current business model launched me into a six-figure income over the last three months. BUT I want to work in a more leveraged way ... so I'm changing what works. Risky, yes. But it'll be worth it. :-)

Blessings,
Andrea

Re: Taking Risks, Stepping Out, and Being Supported

This is a great post. It's so important to believe in yourself and to keep your focus and it's especially great when you can have support from others. I'm definitely going to check out your site. It sounds great.
