Nice realizations and it sucks that you're going on a hiatus, but we all have to do what we have to do! ;)

I know Henri, just when we were getting to know each other too! I am not disappearing from the Internet entirely though. ;) Email me when you get your blog going, and I'll be sure to check it out. :)

Well, I can appreciate the "new place" you have discovered. However, I have gone through the male dominated world looking for girl-power, decided that there was a gender-divide that was real, even if I didn't like it. Then, went through the same thought of not separating the women from the men, for the exact same reasons that you posted here. After many years of that path? I came to the realization that there really is a gender-divide. I don't have to be upset over it, or angry about it, but to recognize it, and try to find ways-- as a woman-- to beat that divide, for my own success and accumulation of wealth as a woman-- and not to bash and conquer men, but recognizing our paths are different, like it or not. I was in awe of finding this website. I couldn't believe this information existed. I don't believe there was any information in here that would not have been useful to men, if they chose to read the posts. Why can't men read a blog called "Billionaire Women?" If they wanted to be wealthy, they would. I will not be following anymore. I feel let down by the disappearance of the purpose of this blog. It is still what I needed. Good luck in your focusiness and all your other endeavors.

    Hi Carolyn,

I totally get what you're saying. I don't think that the divide has disappeared. I just don't want to put any more emphasis on it at this point in time. Also, just because my site is going on hiatus, doesn't mean that there aren't any other resources.

I highly recommend you look at Alexandria Brown, Kendall Summerhawk, Baeth Davis, and "Millionaire Mommy Next Door". These are all beautiful, amazing, women who can teach you how to accumulate wealth while being your feminine self.

Who knows, following my raw food purpose - I may have more to teach about being a woman in business down the line.

Thanks for sharing your feelings Carolyn. I'm sad to see you go, but I know you'll be in good hands with the wonderful ladies I recommended. :)

    Warmly,
    Nathalie

    Hi Nathalie,
It's always great to be here, and know that while you will be missed here - I'm excited for you and the new directions you're venturing into! I'll be following along at your new site, and am looking forward to all the future holds for you.
And...hey, I didn't let the word "woman" deter me from what this site has to offer - it's all great stuff!! All of it! And it comes from a woman with a billion awesome qualities!

Congratulations both on building a valuable resource here, AND recognizing that for you, it's time to move on. As someone who writes a lot of 'empowering women financially'-type material, I respect and admire both aspects of who you are and have been. I myself have wondered if I am focusing too much on women at times, but since I am one, I know the disadvantages that exist and seek to mitigate them. That being said, someone wise here (Carolyn) mentioned that any open and modern man after abundance and wealth should and would be willing to appreciate and gain from such a resource, even though it is geared to women, and I know that is true.

Continued success to you in all you do,

    Shauna

First time here, guess I'm saying hi to a hiatus, which at least makes some linguistic sense...

I've had the mirror image of your career scenario - a male elementary school counselor in a female-dominated profession...

Hi, I just found out about your blog. I was reading older articles and found, as a male, that it was a bit against my gender, and even tough very interresting, a bit too much about Women. I am pretty happy to read this article that is much more open minded and I beleive will lead you toward success much faster.
    Regards

You are right- both men and women deserve advice on how to better themselves. I hope you come back with a blog that addresses both sexes.
