  • Lucky · 1 year ago
Great Article. I have a site that talks about luck and how people can get lucky. The power of attraction fits right into the topic. I actually just announced a blog carnival and I would love it if you participated. The information is posted at http://www.helpyourselfgetlucky.com/2008/03/25/...

Wow, I can't imagine being so convinced I was going to win the lottery that I wouldn't be surprised by $12 million! It does kind of blur the definition of self made.

The law of attraction is alive and well in my daily life. I usually get what I want within reason. If I asked for a million dollar bag of money on the side of the road... that most certaintly wouldn`t happen. But I have had very interesting experiances that border on either an amazing amount of luck or something else. I am sure its the law of attraction playing a part.

I HAVE BEEN PRACTICING THE LAW OF ATTRACTION FOR THE LAST FEW MONTHS, AND I CAN SAY THAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED SOME THINGS THAT WOULD NOT HAVE COME INTO MY LIFE WIHTOUT HAVING PUT THE LAW OF ATTRACTION INTO PRACTICE. I TO HAVE USED THE LAW TO BRING WEALTH INTO MY LIFE AND I MUST SAY THAT I WILL BE BLOGGING BACK TO YOU AFTER MY LOTTERY WINDFALL.

I too have been speaking some things about becoming a billionaire. I have been studying billionaire families, how they acquired their wealth and how they manage their lifestyle. I have said that my family will star in a reality TV show and be the most popular blended family in America. I have started a blog to get our "life and times" out there...and I am meeting people everyday that may or may not play a part in making our dream a reality. I have also stated that I will be a famous series novelist. I have one book published and working on the second...Its gonna happen!! www.thesuperfamily13.blogspot.com

I'm not quite 100% sold on the Law of Attraction yet. From what I've read, it does appear to have a significant impact. But I doubt if you can rely on simply this law. You still have to put in the work. The successful people who use Law of Attraction succeeded because they worked harder than the next guy.

I am here to tell you, the Law of Attraction does indeed work. But since our thoughts create EVERYTHING then you will always have to work hard for what you want because that is what YOU BELIEVE you have to do. I hardly have to work for anything. I simply tell my mind what I wish to experience and it is brought to me.
your MIND is your GOD POWER and it will do what you tell it to do. Period.

I'm not skeptical. I am 100% sure that every thing you achieve is he results of your past thoughts , especially the one you deepy take time to visualize. So even the lottery winners are also included in the law of attraction b'coz they thought of money and got it, doesnt matter how you got it as long as you have what you previously put your thoughts and feelings into.

We all are of one, what we are, and what we all want to be......anything we want....!

Lottery winners are an anomaly--a category unto themselves. They're poor people (mentally) who got lucky with a lightening strike ONCE by participating in the behavior of the chronically poor. They don't count for anything, especially since they'll piss it all away on the things poor people piss money away on. (Shiny things, expensive cars tricked out with $5,000 rims...you know.)

My definition of self-made millionaires and billionaires does, in fact, include lottery winners and deliberate creators. Many people only associate wealth gained through salaried work, business creation and financial investments as the means of becoming self-made. However, my interpretation of the law of attraction (studied via The Secret, Catherine Ponder's books, Florence Scovel Shinn's books, etc.) that it's not how you get there, it's about the end result. If a person wholeheartedly focuses his/her attention on attracting millions or billions of dollars, why should the means of attracting that money be limited to work or investments when there are so many other ways to create wealth?

btw, I just discovered this site today and I'm totally loving it! There is so much doom and gloom around given the state of the global economy. However, anyone who knows anything about business realizes that some of the greatest empires were built during recessions and depressions. I am currently building a business and I couldn't be more excited! Thank you so much for this site, especially right now. I'll be reading!!

I have been so inspired by Diane Garnick. In spite of her success, she has remained so down to earth. She works at my company (Invesco) and always spends time making sure people understand the hard part of economics.

I wish more people were like her.

She once told us that the lottery was like a tax on the dumb and true success only comes to those who work hard. We all laughed, but your blog got me thinking, maybe those winners are just lucky and that's what makes them different from self-made people like Diane Garnick.
